Chapin’s 8303C contractor broadcast turf spreader is a heavy-duty tool designed for professional use. It features a 100-pound weather-proof poly hopper supported by a rugged powder-coated steel frame. The spreader is equipped with finger grips on the front of the hopper for easy lifting when needed, as well as an enclosed acetal gear system to withstand the elements.

The spreader is made in the USA with global materials and is backed by Chapin’s 5-year limited warranty. It is designed and produced in the USA with US-based customer service and technical support located at Chapin’s headquarters in Batavia, NY.

The spreader includes a solid steel gate linkage and adjustable rotary gate, allowing for precise control of spread pattern. It also features a zinc-plated agitator to break up clumps while spreading fertilizer and seeds.

The spreader is designed for comfortable use, with a t-shaped handle featuring rubber grips that make it easy to push the spreader through snow and over ice. Some assembly is required.

For convenience, the spreader is equipped with rugged wide-tread 12-inch pneumatic tires that can move over uneven ground. It also comes with a rain/snow cover and hopper grate included.

Please note that this unit is not recommended for use with sand and sand mixes, lime, pelletized lime, and lime mixes.
